Involve People of All Ages through Gloria Dei Choir

"...but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart..." (Ephesians 5:18b-19, ESV)

The Gloria Dei Choir seeks to support the congregation's song. It accomplishes this by introducing new hymns, singing parts of the liturgy, and offering Christ-centered anthems in the Divine Service and other services. Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings at 7pm, September through May. The director is Bethany Goers. The accompanist is Joanne Jansen.

Involve People of All Ages Through Hosanna Children's Choir

"Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!" (Psalm 150:6, ESV)

Children of all ages are invited to join together in song in St. Matthew's Hosanna Children's Choir. Under the direction of Bethany Goers, the Hosanna Children's Choir contributes primarily to the worship life of the church about once a month. Rehearsals take place during God's City on Sunday mornings at 10:45am.

Involve People of All Ages through Men's Fellowship

"Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness." (Titus 2:2, ESV)

"...urge the younger men to be self-controlled." (Titus 2:6b, ESV)

Men's Fellowship gathers every Monday morning between 7am-8am at Pine Street Cafe in Ferrysburg. Between bites of breakfast, men of all ages support each other through conversation, fellowship, Scripture study, and prayer. For more information, please contact Bob Dingman.

Involve People of All Ages through Potluck Bible Study

Twice a month, a group gathers at St. Matthew for a meal, fellowship, and study. Usually falling on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, this Involve opportunity meets from 6pm--7:30pm. For more information on Potluck Bible Study, please contact David Carter.

Involve People of All Ages through Women's Circle

"Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled." (Titus 2:3-5, ESV)

Women are invited to meet weekly on Thursdays at 10am for Women's Circle at the home of a St. Matthew member. For about an hour, the women engage in fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. Children of all ages are welcome as well. For more information, please contact the Bethany Goers.
