Love one another through morning prayers

"And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you..." (Colossians 1:9a, ESV).

Martin Luther said, "I still find it necessary every day to look for time during which I may pray." The people of St. Matthew seek to love one another by praying for the church, world, and one another during Morning Prayers. This opportunity begins with the reading of Scripture and moves toward specific prayer petitions. Silent prayer is welcomed. Morning Prayers begin at 9:30am on Tuesdays in the Fellowship Hall at St. Matthew.

Love One Another Through Stitch 'n prayer

Those who gather for Stitch 'N Prayer seek to demonstrate love by producing prayer shawls and blankets for those in need. Words of prayer are lifted up to the Lord on behalf of those receiving the created items. Stitch 'N Prayer meets in St. Matthew's Spruce Hall on Mondays at 10am.

Love one another through friend in need

"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith" (Galatians 6:10, ESV).

St. Matthew seeks to love one another by supporting each other through difficult times. Love, In the Name of Christ of the Tri-Cities is a St. Matthew partner who assists with community needs. The Friend in Need fund helps St. Matthew's own members.
