Enrollment at St. Matthew Christian Child Care begins with a meeting with our director/office administrator and a tour of our facility. During the tour we will discus your families needs and desires for your child's early education experience. You will have a chance to meet our staff, see our classrooms, and ask any questions you may have about our Center.

The following documents are required for enrollment. You may print them at home and bring them in or we can provide you with a folder at the time of your tour.

To complete the enrollment a non-refundable registration fee of $65 is due along with all paperwork (i.e. Registration, Admission Agreement, and Health Appraisal) before we can accept the child/children into our care.

Please call or email us to set up a tour.

We are very excited to get to know you and your child/children. The registration form will start this process. This form tells us some basic information about you and what you need for care. Once this form is turned in to the office with a non-refundable registration fee of $65, we are able to get everything started for your child's care at the Center.

  • School Calendar

Our calendar is based on the Spring Lake School calendar. If the school is closed we do not have preschool, but the Center is still open for care. We also try to include the calendar for West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics for those who may be in that school. This calendar will include activities and field trips. These activities can change as schedules change.

We like to keep parents updated with what is going on here at the Center. Photos are a great way to see our activities. As you can see we use photos quite often. • Policies

We have multiple policies to help provide the very best care. A few of our policies are laid out in the following document. Please contact the office at 616-846-4019 with any questions.

  • In Case of Illness

We make every attempt to help curb the spread of illness at the Center. The following document is a policy for missing school due to illness. This can also apply to taking a day away with your child for fun. Communication is key to successful care. If ever there is a major communicable disease (i.e. pink eye, strep throat, etc) it will be posted at the front door so that you are informed to keep a watch for it.

  • Vaccine Recommendations

Vaccines are very important for Child Care Centers. It is a State rule that children may not attend a Child Care without all of their vaccinations up to date. The following document gives more information about recommended and required vaccines.

  • Health Appraisal

Our Center needs to know any health issues your child may have. A health appraisal is the best way for us to know this information. We are required by the State to have an up-to-date appraisal for each child in our Center. The following document is a copy of the papers you would need to bring to your pediatrician's office.
